A Walk at the Reservoir

26 February 2006, 12:17 PM

Starlight sprinkles over rippling waves
wind dances through the dappled limbs of sycamores
pale under a moonless sky
and overhead Orion keeps his chase
seeking after those who would not have him
one who seeks in shame to hide her face
and six too proud to bend themselves once more
to taste disgrace

"Home is ever so far away in the palm of your hand, and how to get there it is of no use to tell you. But you will get there; you must get there; you have to get there. Everybody who is not at home, has to go home."
