Brilliance

30 May 2006, 1:20 PM

Brilliance is exhausting;
tempts one to lay down the quill,
even when she longs to write,
against the will.

So few the labors which meet the mark;
lay open mind and heart
in such a way that those who read
as well as she who writes
leave the page with vision clearer,
within and without self alike.

"Home is ever so far away in the palm of your hand, and how to get there it is of no use to tell you. But you will get there; you must get there; you have to get there. Everybody who is not at home, has to go home."
