Home

A rainy day in the City of Light,
but we choose the sidewalk seats anyway,
because this is Paris, and we came here
to do just this. We had hoped
for sunny, warm weather; would have settled
for warm and rainy; will be content
with 56 degrees and a light drizzle,
because in the end,
the weather is inconsequential-
we're home.

"Home is ever so far away in the palm of your hand, and how to get there it is of no use to tell you. But you will get there; you must get there; you have to get there. Everybody who is not at home, has to go home."
